Veteran-Focused Day Trip

Honor Bus Trip to Washington, DC

Hosted by Northeastern Honor Bus

Northeastern High School Honor Bus is a student-organized group that was created by Mr. Duane Swartz, high school history teacher, in 2011. The group holds two bus trips a year, one in the spring and one in the fall, to Washington D.C. to visit the World War II, Korean, Vietnam Memorials, and Arlington National Cemetery. We welcome Veterans of ANY era and active duty Military members to join us on this day of gratitude. All Veterans will be provided with a T-shirt, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Any Military Veteran who would like to attend may pick up an application at the Building Bridges Foundation Veterans Café. The Café runs every Thursday from 8 am until noon. Hear first-hand from other Veterans who have taken these trips about the experience.

The next two Honor Bus trips are scheduled for Saturday, November 18, 2023 and April 27, 2024.
